I swear to Christ, I hated that stupid "King of Bongo" song when I first heard it, and now that every hipster barista striving for quirky-cred plays it during their shift I hate it even more. I just spent about an hour carefully typing out a response to a friend's post on religion and the boopy-boop noise in the background made it that much harder.

On Saturday, I volunteered to do the desserts for a secret cafe benefiting Transforming Us, a local soon-to-be-nonprofit that raises money for trans surgeries.
